I just acquired a generally in good shape Passport. The smaller knobs (29) are in all really bad shape and I'd like to replace them. Talked to customer service and the have a small quantity. Any ideas, other than eBay where one might find the replacements?

Thanks.

You said customer service has a small quantity, why not buy that small quantity?

So if you bought the five then you'd only need 24 or will you only buy from someone who has all 29? If I only had 12 or 20 you would pass on them? :?

Why not just buy 29 new knobs? They don't have to match, they just have to fit. It isn't that big of a deal.

More importantly, how the $@!& do you manage to lose or damage 29 knobs?

I didn't loose anything. The ones on the unit when I bought it are discoloured by smoke and dirty fingers. Tried cleaning with every I could find. They are gross.

This isn't that difficult to understand he wants to replace all 29 knobs, the reason does not matter so if you don't know where to get them STFU

I was giving logical solutions and asking questions.

So what if he can't find the same knobs? Some parts are just difficult to find, especially in large quantity. If I couldn't find a part, I'd suck it up and find what works.

If you have nothing to contribute other than telling other members off (which I've noticed you do a lot) you can log out, because you've added absolutely nothing to the discussion thus far.

You were such a great help

Because I actually talked to the OP, unlike yourself.

Also, if someone else had said the same things, you wouldn't have reacted that way. In the past, you've had a tendency to put your bullshit on my threads/after my posts.

I could ask you the same, considering I did actually suggest he just buy new knobs, even if they aren't the exact kind.

Asking questions is normal, I was just curious as to what happened to it.

I also have older gear, a lot of it is kind of dirty, so it was a lighthearted comment (as signified by the " :P ") about just keeping the dirty old knobs.

You have absolutely nothing to go on in this thread, so I suggest you take my advice and log out. I've also marked your comments as spam, so hopefully you'll be dealt with.

Cheers!

Your right I don't have the answer to what he asked and seems you don't either so you can report me again. Maybe report yourself.
