I was just wondering what is the stupidest movie you've ever seen? Mine would probably be "War of the Worlds".

there was this one movie that my mom picked out. it's called "The Accidentle Tourist" or something like that. It was one of those movies that you just couldn't stand to watch...but then on the other hand you just HAD to see what happened. so you stuck around till the end, and then wondered why you just watched that whole thing! haha

Well obviously you didn't consider the movies that are stupid by design. War of the Worlds did really well in the black and white era. Did you ever think of Jackass the movie? What about Ace Ventura Pet Detective? There are so many bad movies that I probably made myself completely forget the worst one. I would guess the worst movie I ever saw was called Mosquito Coast. It was so bad it might have been a nightmare. First off the movie seemed to last 10 hours and each hour just dragged. It was unbelievable. But coming in a close second is a group of slapstick comedies that just were not funny.

He was in a lot of movies in the 80's. The Police Academy flicks come to mind.

What about Frankenfish? Or any of those other sci-fi movies like Crocodile.

War of the Worlds wasn't that bad in my mind. It was pretty awful compared to the book, but not terrible. The worst movie I've ever seen is probably Napoleon Dynamite. I had such high hopes from what everyone said, but it was made by MTV Films, so I shouldn't have. That movie was an atrocious excuse for a film.

Funny, Napoleon Dynamite is one of my favorite films! Each to his own I guess. :)

+1, there's nothing more boring that Kevin Costner without Wolves, Indians, South Dakota, or at least, Morgan Freeman to deliver a little character.

Dennis Hopper can only carry so much.

'Monkey'

A 70s kung fu show where this guy with a mullet-esq haircut jumps about and beats up people. Very very very stupid. I felt like bits of my brain were breaking loose and dropping off as I watched.
