It's taking some work to get it down just right, but the song " I Walk The Line" I am learning in my lessons is getting there. It's the first country song I am learning to play since I am a
Johnny Cash fan! I practiced about an hour and a half this evening, but it's better than what it was a week ago,..but again,...still needs some work. My instructor says it just takes time and patience! :)

Get those neural pathways built by pushing until you get it right, then it just gets easy.

One of the great things about music is that something you couldn't do last week is quite easy by next week.

Er, sometimes...

Obviously; we'll all be doing Arpeggios from Hell like Yngwie next week.

That Luther Perkins riff.....well.....back in the day[ high school late 50's]....it was one of the many that the "Be The First One To Learn The Guitar Solo Club" competed for. There wasn't much regular homework done in those years. 8)

Yep - Luther on guitar and Marshall Grant on doghouse bass. The Tennessee Two which became the Tennessee Three after adding "Fluke" Holland on drums.

....and when you learned to weave a playing card between the strings of your acoustic, you had the sound dimed.
