Yes! Another beautiful sunburst you could swim in. Same as mine but I think mine's a 2005.

Hooray! Keep those sienna bursts coming people.

My HSS Strat's surprisingly light, never weighed it but it feels like one of the lightest Strats I own.

You guys are killin' me.

Frank, I tend to agree that out of all the different bursts I've seen the Sienna is right up there as one of the nicest. I won't be coming back to this topic cuz the last thing I need right now is more GAS. Just when I think I've got it licked for good it sneaks up on me and bites me in the wallet so I ain't takin' no chances.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

You know what really cures GAS?

Buying yourself a nice sienna sunburst Stratocaster.

Trust me on this.

This finish becomes a seeker's challenge. The grain pattern is critical to the appearance of the guitar. There is also a slight variability in the appearance of the finish from instrument to instrument. Hence my counsel is that you had best be firm that you're going to pull the trigger when you've finally found the one on the wall that speaks to you. It may not be there when you return.

Mm, time to break out the big guns. This is an old photo from Forum history:

That's my 2005 Am Series. And in the background (under its lookalike photo-hoarding), the real honest-to-goodness original Bedlam. Strangely appropriate. :)

Cheers - C

Right!! I've been having the need to retire to there for years now.

Right!! I've been having the need to retire to there for years now.

It stopped being an insane asylum a long, long time ago. And for many decades now it's been the Imperial War Museum - hence the weaponry. Dunno if that makes it more or less attractive as a retirement spot? :D

Cheers - C
