Hiya Derek.
Please find your road to recovery a journey with the wind at your back. I and a lot of people in my trade suffer that ailment.
I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.My wrist and hand are stlll tender but I'm slowly getting a better range of motion.Last night I was even able to give No. 32 a little workout and she sounds fabulous-the Duncans really give it a fat tone and the tone from the neck pickup and both together sounds just like a big bodied jazz box-the sustain is just incredible for such a thin bodied archtop.

From working so long in a rehab facility I'm pretty well versed in which hand exercises to do to increase my range of motion without compromising the healing process and with the help of my acupuncturist and chiropractor,I should pull through fairly unscathed. They did the surgery while I was awake but I specifically asked that they use a screen due to my being very squeamish at the site of blood and especially with watching any surgical procedure. The worst part of the whole process was the needle with the anesthetic, that stuff stung like a swarm of wasps.Since I live outside the city a public health nurse is coming to the house on Monday to remove the sutures,I won't be able to watch that either and I'm going to ask her to cover it with a Telfa pad to keep me from seeing it.I would pass out on the floor if I happened to catch sight of it before it's completely healed.I used to do dressings on all kinds of surgical scars without blinking an eye but these days I can't bear seeing a tiny scratch.
