Evening all...well for those of us residing in the Midwest at least. It is the best of all days, yes NGD. There has been a tonal hole in my guitar palette so today I remedied that. P90's have been missing from my collection for a while now and I just couldn't take that situation anymore so I picked up this nice Les Paul Special. The pics don't do this guitar justice, the mahogany has some nice figuring and even some flame to it. The Neck is very similar to my '61 SG Les Paul, wide and thin.

Sure isn't any smell as nice as that of opening the case on a brand new guitar! Sorry about the huge pics, I still haven't figured out how to make em smaller!

It was between this guitar and a 60's tribute, but the 60's tribute had the dark back on it and it was too bad, had a pretty top on it, (Honey burst) but that dark back just didn't go with it. And I liked the binding on the neck on this one. But BOTH had that ripping P90 tone! I don't know why it took me so long to get back to a guitar with em!

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

T2
