Where is the Rickenbacker option?

Those Rick's look nice..but the pickups always go bad on the 4001-4003's. I could maybe go for a Cheyenne. That one lacks the pig iron metal that comes with the standard 4003.

I've owned two 4001's and had severe problems with both...and all the used older models I've checked out have all had the same letdowns. Another thing I don't like is the finish on the fingerboard.

The one truly great thing about the Rick is the lack of dead spots. That's a big plus, but doesn't outweigh the rest of the problems.

These polls are of as much use as a parachute in a submarine, yet people keep posting the same futile and inane topics.I don't mind people new to guitars asking for info about the features and neck size etc. of certain models that could be helpful in their search for a suitable guitar but it's pointless to ask a question which has no answer.

To a child which gets no attention, being punished is better than being ignored. :?

OP posts like an offshore spammer... how the game works is to post as many nonsense posts as they can then after a while they'll place a spam link in the sig and let search engines index it.

I'm hoping your computer develops self-awareness and deletes all your posts in shame.

I've heard my Mom say as useless as $@!& on a bull, for another way to put it. Besides, "best" is a matter of opinion and not fact. Like you said, pointless.
