This local ad has blown my mind, I know Fender Japan do some weird and wonderful stuff but I have never seen the like of this before ...

http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/fende ... 1029903231

If I had a spare £600 I'd buy that just to hang on the wall.

If Liberace had been a guitarist, that'd be his Strat!

Well now we'll have to add Green Painted Fretboards to the Maple vs Rosewood argument. Great

dude... that's awesome. I'm only curious as to how long that fretboard paint will last... but that would be killer for a hippie jam band...the colors, duke, the colors!

If that Chameleon had Karma,I'm sure that Boy George would've learned to play one.In the meantime Blinkers has bought some MIJ Fenders and I have played them, the world famous Japanese obsession with perfection is clearly shown in the construction of these guitars.Either way it is a really cool guitar that I would buy in a heartbeat.

Precisely..A guitar of that ilk was owned by Eric Clapton and sold at the Christies Auction in 2004. They called it the "Rainbow Rod". It was done for Eric, finished in "Chromalusion" or 'flip/flop paint' an automobile paint by DuPont. Done by Roy Brizio of Roy Brizio Street Rods, Inc. South San Franscisco. Sorry I can't come up with a photo for ya however, if we're patient, I expect that Chromeface will.

You guys need to check out the Japan site, these have been on there for nearly a year. They do another colour, blue I think.

I am happy that the taste is like a butt - divided . I did not like that at all :? Reminding more of what comes out between the halves of the butt on a bad morning , or simply : puke
