Hi everyone, I just got this from a relative who stopped using it. There is no nameplate or anything on it that could help me with the idenfication. It appears to be a PA speaker rather than a guitar amp. I would like to find out the exact name and value of this amp, so that I can sell it :D 8)

Thanks for any info!

I don't think that this PA combo amp is actually Fender. The cosmetics do not fit any Fender era. I don't know who made it, but at some point someone took a real Fender badge off something that was Fender, a Fender speaker cab/column maybe, and put it on the grill. Either that or it is an outright counterfeit made perhaps in Asia. I've never seen this type Tolex used on any Fender amp or speaker cabinet that I remember. If it was Fender it would have a serial plate somewhere that would be visible from the back without any disassembly. On the plate would be other information on the model. There's plenty of room for one on the lower rear panel. Even when Fender amps were contracted out in Japan during the transition from CBS to today's FMIC the cosmetics were not like this and there was a clearly visible id plate with a serial and model number on it. The design is interesting though, but it is not Fenderish at all. Looks like there might have been some sort of label peeled off from near the power switch on the lower rear panel. That label probably would have told who made it, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Fender USA or Fender Japan product. It is a PA combo amp that doesn't accept XLR inputs which would date it to pre-90's probably.

Most likely a Slovakian 'Garage Sale' find by the OP who leaped at the Fender Label in hopes of making a killing on flipping it. His 1st post is to try and establish it's value. Doubt we'll see a #2.

Too bad... just a pile of recycled organic material from the looks of it.

cheers!

Got these from a relative huh? I wonder why these pictures have the watermark of an online auction site. :|

I've seen that badge before, somewhere. Is it from the early 80's era? I'm certainly not an expert on all of Fender equipment (that's why I like to talk to you guys :P) but it didn't look like anything Fender I've ever seen, and I have a few old catalog PDFs that I got from the JV Chronicles website. Plus, I remember seeing a lot of Fender gear at least from the late 80's and on, when I started playing bass. Nothing that ever looked like this.

OK, thanks. That's what probably it was. I remember those, now.

+1 on all counts......just another generic POFS that rightfully belongs in a landfill.

Thanks to Brotherdave for valuable information. I was not aware of the option that this might not be a Fender product. I am not a guitar player, but a gigging keyboard player, so I know nothing about Fender amps and what they look like. I browsed throught many websites with fender gear before, but to no avail. This was my last option to find out what it is. Knowing this I might probably just give it to someone, as the value might be close to none, if it is just an old no name PA speaker. Easy come, easy go 8)

Also thanks to everyone else for their deep and precise evaluation of my activity here. Let me just explain quickly to some of you who got lost :)

Lightnin MN> Hi, no garage sale, no flipping. If I want to sell gear, I need to know what it is and establish its value. So if it says "Fender" on the badge, I go to a Fender site, register, and ask peeps who know Fender equipment. Even in my first post. I do not hang around for half a year before I ask my question. Surely you can understand.

Strings> Hi, here is why they have watermarks, it was the fastest way of inserting images at the moment - just pointing to my ad. Plus it is not an auction site.

I appreciate everyone's time, thanks again. :)
