Punk makes a very powerful statement. (true punk, not the pop-punk bs or this "emo" stuff that kids consider punk)

Blues gives a very powerful outlet for emotions.

I don't like any genre better then another. Any music that touches me, not matter the genre, is good music. That pretty much covers everything except marches and boy bands.
