If you still like it, it's not dead.

The Rolling Stones have been around since George Washington was alive (well.......almost). Yet their songs and style are not dead (even though Keith Richards looks that way at times). Their albums still sell, their concerts still sell out, and they have fans in just about all the generations.

At the last two Stones concerts that I attended, I saw people from kids, all the way to people in their 60's. Heck, I even took my kids to one of their concerts years ago (when they were early teens), and they loved the show.

There are all kinds of styles of music, and it seems there is always people who enjoy the different styles. You know.....I've even been known to attend symphonies from time to time (and that's a really old style of music).

Look at any of the old Rockers that are still touring and you'll see a number of generations in the audience.

i love nirvana, but i'd have to say that grunge IS dead just because no bands play grunge anymore

but the lifestyle isn't dead

plus the music is still great and i listen to it all the time, so in that aspect its still alive

I would consider them grunge, just listen to Chris Cornell.
