The feel, the slim-tapered neck, the great, clean sound, lower cost (in comparison to some American-made guitars), and wonderful quality.

The Strat shape reminds me of a good woman to be loved and caressed.

Depending on your perspective, that could be a good thing!

A nice box of Cubans with an easy draw, cool smoke, nutty, spicey, coffee and chocolaty flavors, robust with a lingering finish!

Yea, I like that analogy. I am thinking a Telecaster is a lot like a nice box of Montecristo #2s!

Most liked about Fender?

Much, but mostly fun. Fender was the first 'modern' American musical instrument company. They aimed at fun and youth and boldness, innovation, pop culture, simplicity of production, reliability, robustness, then raised and lowered, simultaneously, the intended player age-focus.

Fender challenged convention in a way never before seen in the musical instrument business, changed the way musical instruments and accessories were manufactured, looked, were marketed, owned.

Oh, and lest we forget fun, Fender made music and instruments all about first and formost, about fun.

Intersting that you say that; Fender; at time of it's founding was staffed by guys that may have been fighting in WW2 but in any case they were our Dads' and Grandfathers' generation and they came up with some fine, very advanced instruments that ushered in "all that damn noise" like rock and roll and so much more that came after.

hmmm... well if you're talking about like guitars, than i would have to the body styles. like the jaguar, or the mustang. theose are my two favorite guitars cuz they just look so cool, and the jaguar plays well.

and maybe the merchandise. like i have these slip-ons that they sold before, and they were sooooo comfortable

What I like most about Fender is the respect they have for their customers. They haven't forgotten that it's about us.

The Tone above all I have Texas Special Pickups and they sound wonderful in whatever Amp I play.
The Body Shape is nice on every Fender.
The Necks are nice .
with that clean tone on the Fenders I can´t understand why jazz guitarists have those big $@! archtops.

peace and love to you all
