It just occurred to me one day, and I had to build it. Close inspection will reveal that the neck and body are not even the same species. This finish was in fact done with permission, and even assistance (the official paint and decals were picked out for me) and will be displayed at the local dealer. NOT the Fender dealer ... the other one. The little hook on the head is carved out in the shape on the pull-plow blade. To maximize the style and color, I left off the pick guard and mounted the neck pickup with a piece of Texalium.

Looks cool Dynasoar, definitely one for The Wurzels, I was just looking at Jamguys latest cab build from old radio cabinets and was thinking about what else would look cool for the front of an amp and as it happens the vintage car radiator grills popped into my head then voila your thread pops up you got to go for the matching pair, probably have to build the cab around the grill, just thinking out loud, great look though don't you think, some nice john deere grill covers in here

I'm not a John Deere fan really, but that is a great job! Around here the John Deere thing has been beaten to death on mail boxes, shirts, hats, license plates, thermometers, serving trays, coffee mugs, etc.

I would not say it is purely a country guitar either since I know one guy who plays AC/DC and other hard rock classics in his Deere cab. Where I live now it is big time corn, soybeans and cotton among other things. Probably farming is the number one industry here now since the textile mills are all shuttered or re-purposed. I don't think delivering pizzas to each other or selling used Honda cars to each other counts as an industry.

Again, nice job.

Nice job. I used to do auto racing as a serious hobby. Every year my club would give out the John Deere Award for best off track excursion. Since everyone has video cameras now, this would usually be accompanied by video of the incident with lots of dust being raised. It was one of those awards that you didn't want to get, but if you got it, you had to keep smiling.
