I was wondering why certain people chose the user names and signatures they have, why, and what it means to them (the signature)

I chose dimebag darrell because he is one of my favorite guitarists from one of my favorite bands, and his eptiaph is my signature

Being a Star Trek fan, one of my favorite episodes was the one where Wesley Crusher was experimenting with that warp bubble. From that episode, I took the name Warpfield as my online handle. I am also an avid online gamer, (Diablo II, Dark Age of Camelot and now World of WarCraft). I adopted Warpfield back in my Diablo II days and since then have always had at least one character with the name.

I chose my name because in high school, if you needed a guitarist for a band, you went to me. I was sort of known as "that guitar guy" and I kinda dug it. The AL is for Alabama, where I'm from.

The signature was an old J. Robert Oppenheimer quote (for those of you who don't know who he was, google him) that I picked up in the Marines, and I used to say to myself right before I took a shot.

Just seemed like a cool name to use.

There's been a thread and lengthy discussions about where or what my username means, so I'll leave it at that. The signature is from a song by one of the greatest bands to have ever existed, the MC5.

From Flash Gordon, right??? :D I got my name from a poem about Stevie Ray, and my signature from him, too. :D
