At Famous Dave's BBQ & Blues Club, front row table !

On the Bill: Walter Trout !

Sideman for Canned Heat, Percy Mayfield, John Lee Hooker, Joe Tex, Big Mama Thornton and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers (where he played w/ Coco Montoya).

Great show! Amazingly clean and fast Stratist! Also had his 18 y.o. son sit-in on drums for one set... another talented musician.

Walter also had some great stories about Mayall, Montoya, Luther Allison and meeting Janis Joplin at Woodstock when he was 17.

Met Walter after the show... really nice guy.

I would have loved to have been there. Talk about a modern electric bluesman! I'll bet that was a great show.
