The good ol' radio anthems like "Takin' Care of Business" or "Four Wheel Drive." I may be a headbanger myself but you just can't beat the classics.

My very first public appearance was jamming with a band at a summer school campout after 8th grade. We played You ain't seen nothing yet. I was awful. Got kicked out of summer school for raiding the kitchen and having a large stash of munchies in our cabin.

I loved B.T.O. and I do remember old photos of Randy Bachman playing a Sunburst Strat.

I think he played a strat in his Guess Who days as well?

Yeah, he played strats. I remember seeing him on some German television rock show and he was playing a strat.

I loved their second album. That was their peak, IMO.
Great stomping stuff.

I really like them - very rocking, driving tunes - Roll On Down The Highway is one of my favorites.

While I'm not a huge fan, I have trouble resisting playing "Not Fragile" whenever I pick up a bass. Great bass line--simple, but effective.

Plus tasty guitar licks on Blue Collar.

And one of my favorite misheard lyrics of all time is "Bakin' Carrot Biscuits"

I seen them in the late 70's. I also like the Guess Who. The Bachman brother's have kicked out some great tunes over there time with these to groups.

Takin' Care of Business was one of the first songs I learned back in the 70's. Used to play it all the time with the band I was in back then.

I had all of their albums. In the 70's they where awesome and Randy did play a strat and it sounded excellent. In those days the music was so good I still listen to BTO. Yeh! Where do think the word OLD in GOOD OLD ROCK AND ROLL came from. Some of first songs I learned were BTO jams.
