Aside from my normal health issues (High bp, Diabetes, COPD), I have been having gallbladder problems since Dec. I have been fighting with the Insurance Company, and undergoing some tests on my heart to see if I was OK to have the surgery. I passed all the tests with flying colors and now have a surgery date of June 20.
After that surgery I will be discussing another surgery with Dr. to take care of another problem I have been having for over 10 years now.

So, If I disappear for a few days I'm fine and I will return!!!!!

Man I hate surgery. Good luck with it and don't be afraid to ask for plenty of pain relief! Some docs can be stingy with that.

I hate surgeries too. I have had so many over the years that I should have just had a zipper put in after the first one.
I hate prescription pain meds too. I have high pain threshold so I really don't need them at home.

Yeah, I don't need them at home really either. I was talking about post surgery. I've had doc's that kept me pain free and others who treated me like baby for complaining about the pain right after. The fact I have long hair and tatt's plays into it. Some seem to think everyone with long hair complaining about pain is just a drug seeker.

If things go as planned I will have surgery on the 20th in the morning and be back at home on the 20th in the late afternoon! gallbladder surgery now days is 4 little 1/4 to 1/2 inch incisions and that's it. Pretty cool huh? Hell, I've had bigger dings on my guitars!!!!!!

Just one more battle scar to show off!

I'm thinking about that scene from the third Lethal Weapon where Mel Gibson and Rene Russo start removing clothes to show off their scars......
Man I wouldn't mind a few hours with Rene Russo.
