From time to time I visit the DOD pedals web site (dod.com) for kicks. Today I found their landing page (if you have no prior cookies from their web site) to have a curious web form to input your email address to "be the first to find out", along with a pixelated throwback DOD logo. Makes me wonder if they are about to relaunch the brand... hopefully American-made units with a better battery door (ha!). I'm guessing that Harman could make a few bucks if they do this right. Those older American-made pedals were good ones.

I still have my DOD DFX9 ... sans battery door of course LOL

I had the Metal X distortion... i really liked that one actually. Could do a decent muffy sound if dialed in. I liked that it had two tone controls.

I loved their FX40B Graphic Eq...easily tweekable, a bit of boost and grunt from the volume slider, and very punchy...I lament that pedal dying on me...

the first pedal I ever got was the DOD death metal... that thing sounded awesome, at least for me at the time because I was like 17 and loved bands like Nailbomb.... I found another one in a pawn shop a few years back, took it home, played with it for a day, and re-sold it on CL. just wasn't the same. Never tried anything else they made. But they did have a cool look to them.

I'm curious so I signed up.

I still have a DOD DFX9 Delay and the much maligned FX55-B Supra Distortion which I think works well in some situations. Both date back to the early '90s. And they both have their battery doors!!
