Seeing a local show at a dive joint or book store? You never know what you might be witnessing.

There's always been a lot of 'unknown greatness' out there. Two, whose stars never really rose and shined as briliantly as deserved were Roy Buchannan and Danny Gatton. But everyone who spent time watching them perform tried to cop as much as they could off them. Pity they died so young.

+1 Doc! I have a buddy and those two are his flat out favorites! Makes you wonder though if some of that being a "Great Unknowns" led to their self inflicted demises. The world is worse off without them for sure.

Then there are those who were on the path and got lucky. Coming to mind...Clapton....a prime example of such. Stevie Ray was on the same road to recovery when the fates intervened.

Oh is that what you wanted? Here's the unknown underground band known as Skirt So Plain doing your namesake (lzozlozlzozozo):

...funny that Morello was wearing a CCCP cap (USSR for those who don't know), considering the Soviets would have hauled their collective (pun intended) butt to the nastiest Gulag or remotest Siberian village for the "subversive" music they were playing.

...and that must have been a limited-edition anarchic Marshall amp he was playing? I mean, Marshall isn't a dirty bourgeois capitalist company, is it?

Naive, moronic hypocrites.
