I'm looking for a small pedal board. Something that's powered and can hold no more than 6 pedals, one being a wah. I have a furman pedal board but its just to big for what I use in the band. All suggestions welcome

I got a Johnson FX-BRD Powered Pedalboard. Comes w/ a nice padded, cordura Gig Bag w/ large pocket, plenty of velcro, all the asst'd. power cords and shoulder strap for under $60.

It packs well and the shoulder strap makes it easy to carry.

The link I gave (Amazon) had the best pics, but you can shop around and get it $20 cheaper.

Hope this helps...

cheers!

Arjay

That's the one I've been thinking of getting. The size is right how is the power cord?

A bit shorter than I'd like but I plug it into a stand-alone power strip since one of my effects (A/DA Flanger) is AC-powered and needs its own receptacle. I got mine used from MF for like $69 but the price for new seems pretty reasonable.

The Pedaltrain Jr is very solid for how much it weighs. Comes with brackets to fit the Voodoolabs Pedal Power underneath. Comes with either a softcase w/ shoulder strap or flightcase. The layout allows for hiding cabling with ease. Nice unit, albeit a bit pricy once you include the cost of a power supply.

These Furman boards are pretty nice with the power conditioner built in. Don't think they make them anymore, most online retailers don't have them, but I found one at the link above. Coincidentaly I saw one similar on my local CL...maybe do a search.
Found 1 used on amazon for ya too.

Nice to have that power conditioner on the board...I had to install mine discreetly underneath my homemade pedalboard...makes a big difference, especially with some of the power issues in clubs and bars.

Another idea would be to make your own pedalboard. There are a number of guys on here who have posted up pics of homemade pedalboards.

A little bit of woodworking skills and/or power tool, metal fabrication, etc... skills are all it takes.
