Hey everyone.
I'm considering putting some money into an old 212 Bassman, and stumbled across this one. The price is fair if it's authentic, but something doesn't seem right. Unfortunately I can't put my finger on it. If any of you more knowledgeable folks can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. All of the given info can be found in the link below. Please help! Thanks in advance :)

What doesn't look right to you? Everything looks correct and original to me. Appears to be a 67, with original Jensen's, although one has been repaired. It is priced a bit high, should be able to get this for $300-$350 max...at least in my area. Here is a pic of the inside of my 66 cab for reference.

And on a side note, should have posted this to the Vintage Amp section, guaranteed to get more responses.

The grill cloth is both non-original and non-standard.

Aside from that, the cab appears authentic.

Arjay, please share why you think the grill cloth is not original?...it just looked so dirty to me I had a hard time telling if it was or not. I even tried to compare it to my 64 Princeton's cloth.

Thanks.

Neither the weave nor the color is correct.

Glad it worked out. Enjoy the cab. Are you going to refurb it or leave as is?
