not my thing.... reminds me of my username here. or what I hear every time I go into guitar center. not to say I could play what the guy is playing, I couldn't. just not what I'm into.

While I can admit that I cannot play anywhere as fast as that, I'm reminded of what my old guitar teacher used to say. When you hear people humming along to a particular hook or riff, stop and listen. It's not crazy , it's not fast, it just is.

My cousin had a guy named Joe Stump in his band in the early '90's...but this is not the same Joe Stump. Really the only reason I checked it out...now I wish I didn't.

I have no words to describe that, um playing. I'll agree he is fast and has some interesting takes on playing, but where is the rhythm or harmony? Without those things, it's just a bunch of fast runs. I hope it was a free show.

42 seconds, ouch. The guitar that he is playing looks like a Strat but doesn't sound good like a Strat, what guitar is that?

Well, I wouldn't buy the album, but his technique is pretty solid.

Scalloped fingerboard, by the look of it. I guess that's what Yngwie would be playing if he played an ESP. (Maybe he does, for all I know?)

It was nice that the guy filming it could stand well back from the stage without many audience members getting in the way of his shot...

Cheers - C

You have summed up very cleanly what I was thinking.
