I used to have a Left Handed Burns Brian May. I liked the zero fret and the pickup switching options. The trem I did not like.

I'd rather have his amp rig.

If I may ask an annoying question......what's the zero fret for?

The zero fret is a wire fret right next to the nut. The nut is used for string spacing and the strings rest on the zero fret right next to it. The zero fret is used to adjust string height, instead of the nut, by filing it to the desired height.

Thanks for the over-explanation. I understood WHERE the zero fret was, and what the nut is. I had just never seen a guitar with a zero fret, and was wondering what the purpose was.

But yeah thanks, it makes sense.

Any advantage to a zero fret over using the nut for string height?
