Poor Roy, no whammy bar. Eddy was able to take it to the next level with that.

I did a clean and a grunge version. Both versions feature an extra retarded solo. I think I captured the melody (you gotta listen past the intro part).

Clean:

Aw! guys! i'm splitting my sides at these versions of "retards" they're all good, too good. They're all kinda polished compared to Ed's original classic. 8)

Also most folks are having trouble capturing the patented Eddy Tanhh "don't know what time signature we're in!" or "we're playing all the instruments in different time sigs at the same time!" moves.

True, yet they all seem to have captured Eddy's ability to play slide guitar in such a sublimely subtle manner that it is not even detectable  - good job, guys, you are approaching Tanhood.

You really inspired me to go back where this all started and listen much more closely.

I have realized not only the Tahnn chord but also the elusive Tahnn meter. I just well may have achieved Tanlightenment!

Excellent! Your final step on the journey will be to travel to the East to meet the master himself. A Vulcan mindmeld with Eddy will then finish you off, er, I meant 'take you on the final step to Tanlightenment'.

The quote will only increase in value as time goes on and this thread becomes more obscure. :D
