Sounds really good, but the solo is low in the mix for my taste. I like the somber feel of the tune and the palm muting.

Some nice tones to be had with those mustang amps. Is there a looping function built in?

No, I'm using a TC Electronics looper. This is 3 tracks: rythm, solo, and the palm muting percussion. I love the looper, by the way.

And yeah I can't solo but I'm starting to mess around with it now that I have a looper.

BTW re: the tone...the rather weird (I think) almost-quack tone here is from the Corgan Artist Strat on position 2...amp on "65 Deluxe Reverb" setting. The Corgan strat's quack is very clean and nice, IMO. Positions 2 and 4 are clean....the other 3 are raging for high gain and boomy through clean amp.

Thanks. Yeah, totally agree, but it's with a looper pedal and it all goes through one amp....which I actually sort of like since the solo sucks and if it were out front more, it would be heard more. It forces me to not put it way out front like I'd probably do with my amateur production with some other recording method.

This method is also forcing me to play clean, because with multiple tracks it gets to be slop after a few tracks going through one amp.

Shoulda woulda coulda...but I will say that I *can* and will play this better...this is like first take...had 30 minutes to do this (and I did like 4 other songs) before running out to be with my kids. One day I'm going to spend 8 hours with this tune and try to nail it.

I'm recording a ton of stuff lately since I got my looper pedal (using the looper pedal to record and then recording the amp with a Zoom recorder as you see here), and I have a bad habit now of wanting to record everything instead of just practicing, and I'm recording a lot of stuff I hadn't actually played in a while. Like I could play this thing better 2 months ago...recorded for fun....thought it turned out okay...so put it on youtube.

Anyway....thanks for listening...

I was hoping you would say that, I'm looking into getting one myself. Glad to know you like it.
