Hey Dave,
Welcome to the forum, so far the only info I can give you is that your name is Dave and your last name is probably Mitchell.
Seriously, Pictures might help. but for now....

Welcome, Dave. Pull up a stool and stay a while. Your first guitar? If so, it's all about practice... Ask yourself what you want to be able to do with the guitar, and whatever that is start building a bridge to that goal. :) cheers.

Thanks for the welcome. It's my 1st electric one. I also have a Stagg classical acoustic. I have a Friend who's a music teacher & in a band (plays a tele)who's going to help me learn more.

Welcome Dave , I was just reading last night that ( counties in the north want to succeed from Colorado and become state #51 so that they get representation. Appears the new ridiculous firearms laws put them over the edge.

How do you like that Stagg? I use a lot of cheapo Stagg patch cables for my pedals... they're pretty awesome for 2.99 a piece. (here come the George L purists to tell me how terrible my ears must be...)

Great sound for a gut string entry level guitar. One of the local schools use them, without a lot of problems

Welcome to the Forums. There's been pros and cons about that guitar. If you've got one that serves, that's all that matters. We old timers would have appreciated an entry level Stratocaster 60 years ago. The only one available was 'the one' and it cost about as much in those dollars as an American Standard does today.

Doc
