Good morning all....

Coffee is in hand, it's raining out and David Gilmore is on the player....outstanding! Chores today including mowing the lawn, a bit of laundry and then off to the Strat for some jamming. Heading out with my boys tomorrow to sunny San Diego. Should be great fun and its a vacation that is long overdue. I hope you are all doing well.

Good morning fellow and fellowette forumites. On my second cup of strong coffee, 75 here and cloudy, we had rain overnight, and we have t-storms in the forecast for this afternoon. Sounds like a good day to rock.

Beautiful day here, today. Too bad I'm spending the day inside doing housework preparing for the imminent (er, ominous) arrival of the old man. Pop can be a cranky old bugger. I won't spend much time on here this weekend. I'll be too busy keeping him out of trouble with the locals. You know that show, "Crap" My Dad says? That guy's an angel compared to mine.

Coffee is good today though. Saltspring Island French Roast. Missed my cuppa this morning but enjoying one now as I take a little break. Wish I had some Baileys to go with.

+1!

The wife is off to a co-worker's house to help her celebrate her tyke's fifth birthday so I'm enjoying some (quiet?) solitude. I've got Bad Company's "Boys Cry Tough" cranked on the hi-fi, a cold Foster's at hand, and absolutely not a fooking thing to do this afternoon.

It's beautiful!

Well, unlike my compatriot above, my wife is here, just finished with some serious weeding in the backyard flower beds (at my urging) and she's a bit cranky right now.

Me, I'm sweating my behind off on this glorious 73 degree day, burning paint off the south side of my 1922 Craftsman home. It's a neat old house, but this is the price you pay to live in an historic neighborhood with 150-year-old oak trees keeping you in the shade.

It looks like the wife and I will be cleaning ourselves up shortly and heading off to see a band known as The Beaker Brothers Band. Nope, don't know a thing about them, but the wife says we're going, so I'm going!

Well, what do you know? They're old guys just like me and Arjay. Shower time!

A tad late on this one. Just marinating in Bellevue WA after returning Sunday following an Alaska/Canada trip. Back to FL [state of current confusion] on Monday next. Will follow the Forums from here for awhile.
