I don't have a fuzz pedal either as the one's I've tried just didn't do anything for me. 8)

+1 for the Tube Screamer, nothing compares when pushing tubes.

...and what's the problem with that? :P

I agree, a fuzz is a thing of beauty to some and a pile of horse manure to others; it is all in the ear of the beholder.

I’ve been without pedals for a long time having gone to the Multi FX unit thing. But… getting back into pedals and ditching the MultiFX. Since money is much tighter these days and I wasn’t sure what I wanted, I gave the whole Joyo/Biyang thing a try. Bought a Biyang Muff clone and an Joyo OCD clone for about 70 bucks for both. Have to say I’m LOVING these pedals together. Yeah some will poo poo the idea of those brands and/or the idea of buying Chinese but I’d bet a lot of pedals and components are made in China anyway and sure I’d love to buy a boo teek USA hand soldered pedal but just don’t have the bread to do so. This at least gives me an idea of what I’m after at a really low price so I can test out different fx and if I decide I must have the real deal I can do that or if it completely sucks, I have a project box for a BYOC. Both of these pedals Rock and I actually like the Muff clone better than the Green Russian I toyed with years ago. Paired with the overdrive on the back end of it, I get some pretty decent Gilmour tones.

I will say between those two brands… the older Joyo builds are better quality. At least has mostly through hole components for any future desire to mod. Getting the TS clone next for 34 bucks.

Feel free to bash my Chinese pedal buying phase. I’d probably agree with you…

My favorite fuzz pedal is my Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Fuzzface. It even doubles as a radio! :P

My favorite overdrive is the Ibanez Tube Screamer.

Fuzz isn't so easy as I have a bunch of 'em. I loved my Univox Super Fuzz all those years ago and I have a clone of that pedal, the Black Cat Super Fuzz. I just got a new Devi Ever Soda Meiser which is a lot of fun, too.

By far my favourite fuzz pedal is the SM Fuzz. It just sounds amazing, IMO.
For over drive, I am much less particular, but my favourite is the Blackout Effectors Mantra.

Look at the Keely Fuzz Head.

Visual Sound Jeckyll & Hyde does a great combo of an overdrive and a distortion in one pedal. I also have a Blues Driver and Tube Screamer and they're both good, but use the J&H more.

Not a fan of the fuzz effect regardless of the unit, but that's just MHO.

I just purchased a Fender Mustang Floorboard, but I still have my Proco Rat in a safe place.

Low OD - Way Huge Pork Loin (saw a recent Bonomassa pedal board thing and noticed he has one on his board too)
Mid - OCD V4, Wampler Euphoria
Considering getting a Wampler Hot Wired V2 that Brent Mason uses for all his studio work.
Have a ZenDrive that never bonded with. Tried and true Bad Monkey pretty good too.

I would have to say a Shin-ei Companion FY-2, even though I never owned one, nor got to play through one. I've liked what I've heard from it, though.
