Minnesota, NICE find! :!: That guitar seems like it would be worth a whole lot more than just one bill.

How are you liking the pickups??

Thanks Toronado, The guy I bought it from bought it for his kid to learn guitar on (odd choice), said he paid 300 bucks. I did a google search and lesser condition pieces are going for between 250 and 350 usd. He made his kid hand me the guitar and collect the money.

Mmm, twangy. 8) Cool find. I'm sure Fender wasn't too happy with the head stock design, though. :P

Congrats-that's a real lucky find, and especially in such great condition. Most low budget guitars from the 60s era weren't treated with kid gloves and were treated poorly. To find any guitar from the 60s or 70s in such pristine shape is incredible.I hope that you have an old Beltone,Kent or Silvertone etc. amp from that era so that you can get the old cheesy 60s garage band sounds.Old Teiscos are getting more and more desirable and valuable as each year goes by,you got that puppy for about 1/4 of what they usually sell for.

Now didn't the late, great Phil Kubicki borrow from the design of this kind of neck laminate?

Thanks guys, I'm lovin' this guitar. I f you're looking for Fender clean it's not here, but it has a real cool tone between twangy and quacky. Seller was asking 150 so I emailed him and asked if he would consider 100. He said yes If I could meet up right then. I was out the door in a flash.
