People who want attractive colours in a USA made guitar really do need to pay top dollar for it these days eh.. If we all were on that board of decision makers, the US Standard & Deluxe lineup would look waaaaay different.. Irony is that we are the ones buying the stuff

I like the rustic ash Tele, but still-

yawn. :|

The AVS line got also new colours: Sherwood Green, Shell Pink, Shoreline Gold, Candy Apple Red, Blue Ice Metallic, Olympic White.
The Shoreline Gold '65 Strat came with a matching headstock.

No new colours for the AVS basses yet.

Has the website not been updated? I looked at the AVS and don't see a Blue Ice Metallic.

That Sonic Blue is a looker. Rosewood neck too. Also, 22 frets. Fortunately, my Amer. Standard Natural wood Tele holds off the GAS. A little,

Hard to resist a nice piece of ash though. :D

The brown aluminum pickguard is a piece of crap

Decidedly the ugliest feature ever seen on a butterscotch blonde Tele. :x

This guitar deserves a 1-ply black vinyl guard.

I imagine the S-1 will have to go and real Fender single coils like Tex Mex or Texas Specials love the Atomic/Hot Rod humbucker.

With the blower switch you can dial between sweet clean and screaming fat lead sounds.

Are you tempted for the same guitar with a rosewood neck or you really want a maple neck 2013 US Deluxe to complement your heavily modified 2009?

I really already have that in a standard model so it would be redundant.
I think its time for a Maple.
I will wait until American Musical has them and see what the 12 payment would be.

Did you've already a spare Mini Floyd Rose trem ready to be installed? You'll need to buy a matching backplate (p/n #0054030000) to cover the tremolo cavity.

I say the more colours and colour combinations available the better, because I'm that kind of a guy :D

It does have to be said though the red ones are the best! 8)
