Any thoughts? For me, it would have to be Like a Rolling Stone. Bruce Springsteen was able to take that one song and make a whole album of material based on it. If that's not great, then I don't know what is... :D

Being an American I would have to say "The Star Spangled Banner"

Being a Human Being it would have to be "Happy Birthday"

well, i think that the best songS ever written is and forever will be the September 11th songs. Like:

Have you forgotten? by Darryl Worley
The Innocent by Goldfinger
and all of the other 9/11 songs

There's just way too many to even consider which is best. But...one song I always wish I wrote was Desperado by the Eagles. I know it's not a rocker, but damn that's one soulful song.

One that always brings a tear to my eye is John Lennons Imagine. So simple and beautiful.

Killer Queen by Queen

I love the lyrics and guitar in that song. I love Freddie's voice, I feel like that song shows what he could do with his throat...Oh wow that doesn't sound right, considering his sexuality...lol

I just didn't have the heart to go there. You're right of course.

Or "I Wanna Hold Your Hand". I don't think anyone thought that a Musical revolution was starting with a Bublle-Gum Pop Hit.
