It was "Lick My Love Pump" :P Actually, we play music together, so technically it was a demo tape to audition for her project I sent her of some of my songs when I met her. I did a cover of "A Strange Day" by The Cure on it, so I guess technically it would have been that song.

I got married 6 years ago and the first song I ever played for my wife on the guitar was Bon Jovi's " I'll Be There For You ". At our wedding though , we both went with Lonestar's " Amazed " as our theme song.

:D Just kidding though. I can't sing, much less do it while playing, so I don't perform anything for anyone. And somehow I don't think she'd like this one too much anyway...

It's hard to say. She had attended some shows in the mid 70s that I was playing at - - first song *for* her was something personal and original.

I've been married to the love of my life a lot longer than I've been playing guitar. Last year on our anniversary I played (and sang....a real stretch for me) John Prine's "in Spite of Ourselves".

Ironically, "It's Too Late" by Carole King.

Got up and played "Wonderful Tonight" at our wedding reception with the band...she requested it! We have been married for 30+ years, so I must have done a good job on it!

She still likes it, every once in a while I'll start playing it downstairs and she always comes down and sits and listens. Corny I know, but it works for us!
