Sure thing, Brad. :!:

We're as excited about this as you are and I think it would be great if the feedback / input flowed both ways. I've gone through the thread and made a summary of the questions/points raised so far. If you would be so kind to respond to some of them, it would be greatly appreciated. (If I've left anything out, please feel free to add to the list.)

Cheers!

@Brad

Though the deluxe locking trem is no longer an option for the American Deluxe series, at least bring back the assembly as a spare accessory for those who prefer this type of bridge.

Great! I can now replace my abused MIM Jazz neck, woohoo!

For suggestions, I'd like to add 5-string bodies and necks for bass.

I'd also like to echo previous requests for fretless bass necks, both lined and unlined (I personally would buy a lined fretless neck, but at least one other previous poster prefers unlined), additional color options, and bare wood options.

And what would also be wonderful is if you could offer those colors as an option on the headstock faces of the new necks.

You can't go wrong with a lined fretless Deluxe Jazz neck with face dots or an unlined maple 70's Precision type!

Another suggestion -- Offer the rosewood Tele neck that is currently used on the Satin Finish Telecasters that were just introduced. A rosewood neck that fits a MIM Std Tele might be popular..

Great info,,I have a question about the Fender necks. I have a 84 Kramer Striker. Its basically a strat, but the neck needs to be fret dressed, leveled or just replaced. The grooves in the frets are pretty deep, but will a fender neck fit on the kramer? Or would I have to modify? Its a Rosewood neck,Id like to hear it w/a clearcoated maple neck.

Got my USA replacement neck the other day. It is lovely. It is with my dude for adjustment and whatnot now. Switched from rosewood to maple. That should be interesting.

Brad -

Thank you to Fender for doing this! I am a long time Fender player and have hoping that this would happen for many years. Fender is really innovating and coming up with some great ideas for every price level.

Like others have said, it would be fantastic to get some more options. In particular having more options on Fret Size would be great. For example, the American Standard neck you have on the site but with JUMBO frets would be ideal. Maybe offer a standard neck carve, a V neck, and 'Fat' neck with a choice of frets. Keep it simple.

I have an American Standard that needs a re-fret, and I'd rather just get a brand new neck, but with Jumbo frets direct from Fender!

One more idea with the replacement bodies/necks: Offer up a guitar configurator so that you can buy a genuine Fender kit with all Fender parts. Kind of like the build-a-guitar option at the fender visitor center.

This should of happened a while back but hell.... good work...

My suggestion would be telecaster deluxe bodys (bound)... I see they wernt there.

Ive been after one for a while, but have only encountered questionable copies...

I want a REAL Fender Nitro finished black with cream bound telecaster body....
Can you help?....;-)

This is soooooo good!!!!!!...

Thanks Brad!!!!!!!

Why arent the Fender American Special Stratocaster necks available? Some of us like those bigger 70s pegheads. I personally want a maple one for my strat.

Brad I see one big shortcoming for me as a customer - the necks only have the truss rod on the top of the head. It's no secret that these 'modern' necks sound a little different to the old stuff. Can you introduce standard vintage necks - 7.25 radius and truss rod at the bottom of the neck?

As for the bodies, I also miss the 'classical' Strat body with S/S/S made in USA. The H route takes away a little body mass.

I understand its kind of a niche, but I'd like to see some hardtail strat bodies.
