Good morning friends. I have coffee on and Joe Jackson's Blaze of Glory playing on the IPad.....great stuff! It's like a rainforest here in Blaine, I am waiting for the three toed sloths, macaws, and the rest of the Amazonian fare to make an appearance in my yard ( are there macaws in the Amazon?)

Inside work today and I will be playing my guitar. Tomorrow I have been asked to rehearse with a high school reunion band...class of 1966. It will be great fun and a new experience for me. The gig is in September. Much time to practice.

Have a great day everyone, no matter where you are on is great orb!

Beaubs

Good day to All!

Enjoying a cup of PG Tips and watching western shows on AMC. It's bright and sunny here, but the afternoon rains are already on the way.

I may actually have time for the guitars today!

Morning, everyone. I just helped the wife pack her bike and two dogs in her car and waved goodbye to her as she headed north to my daughter's for a one-night camping and biking outing. Only trouble is that it is pouring rain right now and I told her I thought she was crazy.

We got 2.25" of rain in about 40 minutes yesterday morning and, as mentioned, it's coming down again and the same is forecast for the next several days. I've been mowing the yard every 3-4 days, weather permitting!

Oh, and temps in the 90s through this whole weather adventure!

It's nice and cool in the Music Room.

Morning!
Nice and cloudy in Guanajuato.
Rains are late.

It´s been Tom Waits sounding here all week.
Have a Les Paul my accountant lent me, will check it out
though I am anything but thrilled about that.
The Stratlad got a blood transfusion yesterday.
Will probably help my daughter with a song she is writing. 8)

Good morning,
Just back for a round of a.m. "honey do"s. One of the stories that caught my attention on the car radio was the flooding in downtown Calgary. They have had over 4" of rain and as a result rivers in the area are up and running. The hockey arena has water up to the 10th row, downtown is closed and there is more rain coming.
On a happier note, hey Beaubs, 1966? Lots of great music in your school days. Still got the sheet music?
Be safe,
John.E

Hi Beaubs and everyone. Cloudy and rainy in Chicagoland. I just got an e-mail about the '68 reunion in September (our 45th). It should be fun, hope that we have another good turnout. I've got a cold so I don't want to touch anything but my box of kleenex tissues, lol. Everyone have a great weekend. :D

Good morning everyone, two cups of coffee down and ready to roll. Family obligations today, and a beautiful day here, sunny and 80 F. Enjoy the weekend, everyone.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
