heh heh...just wondering. i'm graduating nursing school this friday!!!

i love the job, it's tough and can be dirty at times, but it's a really rewarding profession and i am proud to become a nurse.

besides, working as a nurse (well at least interning as one anyway) helped me buy my first Fender American Standard Stratocaster (2008)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats and Kudos! I'm a retired RN, got into it by being a enlisted Medic in the military for 9 years, went to Nursing school and earned a BSN, then served for another 11, including a tour in Iraq in a Surgical/Trauma unit. I've worked in clinics, Med/Surg wards, and ERs. It's rough and tough sometimes, but it is indeed a worthy profession. Nice to see a fellow Nurse/musician here!

As I was lyin in a hospital bed
A rock n roll nurse went into my head
She says, hold ya arm, stick out ya tounge
I gots some pills Im gonna give you somes

She went into my head, into my head
A rock n roll nurse, went into my head
Into my head, into my head
While I was lyin in a hospital bed

A little pill for my legs, but that didn't ache
I tried some pills for my heart, but a little to late
Gots some pills for my love, to put me at ease
'ats when a rock n roll nurse shook me down to my knees

Good for you! I have immense respect for everyone who chooses this life path! And I'm sure that's why you did it. :P

Congrats on the RN and good on getting the new guitar, too.

Wife is an RN specializing in orthopedics, you folks are often heroines and heroes on a daily basis.

Congrats! And that is a killer looking axe!

My best friend is a nurse. He retired from the VA and now works in a hospital. He loves it. He works in Behavioral Health. Not for me. My hat is off to you guys!

Again, congrats!

Is that a blemish on your guitar?

I thought that may be the case, I was looking at it thinking it was nice and noticed the reflection and thought it would suck to have a nice guitar like that with a chip in it.

I'm an RN- currently working in Administration. I spent the first 10 years on a Med/Surg floor- learned a ton. Good Luck and welcome to the profession- I'm sure you will find it very rewarding.
