Bus Lanes, completely empty Bus Lanes to be precise, the Holy of Holies, Thou Shalt not enter, if we're only allowed to use half the roads why can't we pay just half the road tax, and what's so freakin important that buses have to reach their destination before anyone else

Advertising brochures sent out by GC and SA advertising their next BIG DISCOUNT SALE! But then you notice an asterisk, which leads down to the very, very fine print at the bottom saying "Some manufacturers have asked to be excluded from our BIG DISCOUNT SALE!" It then gives you the URL to see who wants to be excluded from their BIG DISCOUNT SALE! When you click on the URL, you see virtually every guitar, amplifier, and pedal manufacturer on the planet wants to be excluded from the BIG DISCOUNT SALE!

Non-functional hood scoops. That's right, I said it.

If you're going to have a hood scoop it better scoop air and make you go faster. As a Toyota fan and driver there's nothing more obnoxious in this world than looking at that sport edition hood and knowing it's meaningless.

Don't even get me started on chargers, mustangs and challengers.

Allright Chris, I understand what you are asking but then so does everyone else. What is the good in that for a subject such as this? Not asking you to be politically correct. Asking you to be understood by us (artists hopefully) just for fun, and the others who are not us to think you are just writing some thing not
worth reading. Try the subject line again, wordy, boring, vague description, please.

I wonder if your bass player may be related to one of my co-workers on the shipping dock at work,...he does the same damn thing if he does not get his way.

That I'm not on tour yet this summer. I had an offer yesterday for a blues-rock band.I'd honestly like to hook up with a straight blues band.

Hi CPL one recent example of exorbitant shipping charges is the book I tried to order from the U.S. today, the book cost $29 and they wanted $35 for shipping and another place wanted $85 for a certain book and a whopping $53 for shipping. I emailed them saying that the initial cost of the books was quite reasonable and that the inflated shipping charges are a definite deal breaker.I also asked them why their shipping charges are so high when other U.S. dealers I have dealt with charge much less for shipping even larger and heavier and more expensive products and some others even have free shipping.Any duties etc. are paid at the post office when I pick up my order.

Hi Oneal,I wasn't trying to initiate a political face-off with this, I am just very puzzled why some companies charge such incredibly out of whack rates for shipping and handling guitars and musical paraphernalia while others can send things to Canadian customers for much less or even free of charge like Strings and Beyond does. The tariffs and duties we have to pay are negligible when compared to the shipping costs.

That gives me an idea I never tried them to see if they carry books, that could save me a bundle.

Guits,

I did not mean to imply that was the your intended purpose of the thread, I just took it that it was a "general thread" and one could spout off about whatever in the world was making you mad. I get really PO-ed about politics and social issues and thats what was eating me but as a rule i don't bring it here.

In hindsight I should have just not posted anything.

My apologies.

OL
