I have the original redbox and wondering if anyone has
tried this one out yet?

Any reviews are appreciated.

Cool looking Mike. I have no experience with it though

The only HK product I really like is the 9-mm MP5K, preferably the suppressed version with collapsible stock.

I'm partial to a H&K USP .40S&W Compact.

Haven't tried the Red Box. Really the only H-K product I ever lusted after was the Rotosphere, but the price deflated my GAS.

My local shop has started stocking Hughes and Kettner. I'm quite impressed with their gear, though it all seems overpriced.
The Tubemeister 18watt combo is decent enough, the speaker isn't the best. £450 for a simple circuit 18 watt combo. The speaker did let it down, but I tried the 2x12 cab (another £450) and it was a night and day difference. Was it was £900 worth of amp, I'd have to say no. But I can see why plenty of people like the stuff.

And it's all built like tanks. Had plenty of Blackstar repairs from that shop and no H&K. Though they've sold more.

If you were closer I'd let you borrow mine. I hardly ever use it.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I'm a big fan of H&K gear, I have an original Red Box which still sees plenty of use. I don't think the Red Box 5 is actually out until next month, so you may find a rather low amount of people who have tried it. ;)

The ORIGINAL red box had a battery. The 2nd incarnation did not, and I still use that one. It sounds fine. One thing though, it's heavily padded, so you have to tell the sound guy to really push the trim knob.

The new one has a choice of 0db or -25db, which is nice. I have no plans on getting one unless my Red Box Pro stops working for some reason.
