Hi, my name is Eric Goble. I'm new here so I'm introducing myself and checking in before I post. I'm a former Fender employee from the Oregon Fender/Sunn amplifier facility and I still live in Lake Oswego. Anyway, look forward to talking to you folks. Thanks

Welcome Eric! My SUNN 2000S was the best bass head I EVER had!

One of the best bass cabs I played through was a Sunn half reflex cab. Pretty sure it was an 18 folded back and either 10 or 12 inch speaker sitting in the top part. Incredible tonal spectrum, very focused deep sound and really clean. Never hefted it but it did not stand much higher than 3 feet if I recall.

I had one of the Acoustic 371 setups where the power was in the head rather than the cab, like the 361 setup. For those not in the know, I had a 301 head and a 370 bottom. the setup was called 371. I did not like it. It did not form its proper note until around 18 feet away. I traded that bottom for a Peavey with 2 EV 15's. I still have one of the 15's.

Greetings. Yes, Sunn, I've heard of such a legendary creature from my bass elders, but never had the opportunity to lay eyes on one, nor plug into it.
