I've got a silverface Twin I believe I bought early 70's. I've read the Fender site info and found the "606" number on the transformer, which is followed by "-21-2". According to the Fender info that would mean it was manufactured the 21st week of 1962. The tube chart had no dating. I only found the following other #, stamped on the right side of the chassis next to the UL sticker: A 46462.

Any help?

Hi Tonetoyer, I don't know the answer to your question, but you will probably get better answers if you post the question in this section of the forums  viewforum.php?f=12

For a more direct answer, you can email a rep at Fender. I forgot the exact steps, but they can run your SN.

Don't bother Fender with this... Your amp is a 1972...if all your transformers, etc., (dates you gave) are original. And the tube chart not having a stamped code started in late 68 early 69, so that lines up with everything including the silverface cosmetics.

Pics are always helpful though.

Well, I'm not quite keeping up...So, thanks Screamin; my last was a reply to Buxom; and T2stratman: I would have said '72 was quite likely the year I bought it. Which code is most identifying?
