You would have endless regrets if you were to buy this, not a Fender guitar.

Doesn't claim to be a Fender guitar.

Still wouldn't buy it though.

I´d say this here guitar is worth $150 dollars, being very generous.

And it´s quite ugly.
And whoever gets it will have a
guitar that says Fender and yet is not.
And that´s pathetic.

says 'Fender' on the headstock, so the implication is there i'd say.

Looks like it began life as a cream colored Squier Bullet to me.

The listing speaks for itself. There are several 'replica' builders in the business..."Ed Roman Guitars" comes to mind....for one, who do that sort of thing.

Yeah....no.

For me it would be a firm no. If you care enough about a "tribute" you care enough to spend the money.

If you're willing to spend $150 (barely what it's worth) it would depend who in Milwaukee made it. Anything from Top Shelf or Wade's is worth it.

The mandolin decal looks terrible. Looks like the dude went to the hardware store on brady all drunk and into a great SRV record all while a puke brown strat body was sitting around. A few more beers and a drunk ebay purchase for the neck...here you are.

I never thought much of that Tribute project, [It came on the heels of the Clapton guitar, an attempt by Fender and Guitar Center to make hay while the sun shone.] and apparently did not attract much interest among collectors. They've been offered at reduced prices in the past. I suppose one could find one at agreeable cost if the interest was there.

A nice documentation from Fender's resident archivist & photojournalist.
