I always totally dug on Steve Morse and his work he did with the Dixie Dregs when he played with them way back.I remember going and seeing him and he played this crazy $@! Fender Guitar that he built himself.I just happened to be checkin him out and I ran across that guitar he built.I thought I would throw it up and share it .This thing was a beast. He did all kinds of crazy mods on this thing....Have a look.I have a link to some info on this beast if anybody wants to check it out.

Ugh. Tunomatic bridge, can't stand those. And it should be illegal to put humbuckers in a Telecaster. not my kind of guitar at all. I'd love to get that on the bench and chop it back to being a proper Tele.

It reminds me of the things people do to Korean Squiers.

Immediately before selling them on eBay as a "heavily customised relic".

+1 SA!

Indeed very Frankensteinish. It has personality.
And I´m sure good old Steve played the snot out of the thing.
It´s a farm work-horse, ridden hard and put away wet.

...Nice to see valuable members around despite the recent troubles,
would hate to log in and find you guys gone.
Let´s keep on truckin´.

I'm surprised Fender hasn't made this into a signature model yet. LOL.

It's sounded great!

He's switched now with Deep Purple. He could probably sound good with anything...

Steve definitely has some chops.I have been fortunate enough to see him play many times and he is amazing on the guitar. He even gave me a pick one night at one of his gigs he was playing at a smaller venue here in CA. .....Super stoked :D
