+10000!

To be honest - I never think the Pentagon being able to do that foolishness.

Only a minority of crazy bangheaded fools pretend that the government is behind the disasters.

They're liars! Nobody in the US Administration can manipulate weather and create artificially a tornado.
US authorities must arrest those SICK people and shut down their websites.

There's no longer needed to get a response from Chuck Hagel regarding the ionospheric research program. Wikipedia has the answer.

Stanford University professor Umran Inan told Popular Science that weather-control conspiracy theories were “completely uninformed,” explaining that “there’s absolutely nothing we can do to disturb the Earth’s [weather] systems. Even though the power HAARP radiates is very large, it’s minuscule compared with the power of a lightning flash—and there are 50 to 100 lightning flashes every second. HAARP’s intensity is very small.”

That's the explanation! :D

PS: Don't forget to send all my wishes for a quick restoration of the damages caused by tornadoes and my condoleances to the victims' families!

It is happening again this afternoon. Hoping it is not as bad for Oklahoma as the last event was. Thoughts and prayers for those folks.

T2Stratman is currently down in Broken Arrow, OK on a fishing trip and reported an F2 tornado passed within a mile of him last evening.

Prayers for all those who may be in harm's way.

Arjay

Arjay, I hope your friend is ok. Broken Arrow had another tornado this evening. There are several tornadoes being reported all over the state tonight.

We played a local club tonight. After talking with the club owner we anounced before we started that if we were in the path of any dangerous weather the club would be shut down and everyone would be asked to leave.....of course only if there was time to do so safely. At approx 11:30 that happened. Everyone cooperated and left in an orderly manner. We were one of the last to go and through the lightening flashes we could see a lowering....not on the ground....directly west of us headed our way. It never touched down.....thank goodness. On the way home we saw another lowering to our east. After I got home I found out there were 3 tornadoes in our area.

I haven't seen the detailed reports, but I do know that downtown OKC took a direct hit. Last I heard a total of 5 tornadoes were around OKC, including Moore. They also reported 5 people killed. I have family in the path of one of those tornadoes, but thankfully they are all ok.

Crazy storms this past 2 weeks. We will survive. We will continue to help those who suffer losses. Thanks for the well wishes. They are appreciated.

A woman with her baby figured among the victims.

50 persons were injured in total.

First of all, my prayers go out to the victims of these tornadoes . Now I think that these are mother nature's way of fighting back after all of the abuses that we as man, have perpetrated upon the planet over the centuries . It's not just in Oklahoma but think about all of these storm systems that have been sprouting up within the last few years everywhere. Just some food for thought and my opinion, that's all.

You have to remember that the average weather conditions are taken from the last 100 years or so. So the averages don't factor in anything that happened before that.
Some years are worst than others. Consider the ice age and the warming trend that followed. Oklahoma, Texas and most of everything west was once part of the ocean. Imagine the weather changes that took place to change all that.
I'm just saying that when the weather changes dramatically in our life time it seems almost like the end is near, but extreme weather changes have been happening since the earth was formed.....and will continue to do so.
JMHO

Prayers and whatever anyone can do to help those who unfortunately find theirselves in the path of mother nature's fury are greatly appreciated and needed. That's really all we can do.

New death toll: 14 persons dead.

There are other states threatened by those killer tornadoes, including Virginia, Missouri and Maine among others.

This WAS a thread where people could share their heartfelt feelings of concern for the tragedy.

It isn't a place to glorify death and destruction.

If you want to talk of conspiracies and relish in the untimely death of children, go somewhere else.

I'm sure those of you who are the one's I mentioned, are on a lot of members"FOE" list.

How many times must you be asked?

I'm against conspiracies, oxfan. I really dislike this kind of discussion.

I provide the breaking news for information purposes only and NOT to glorify death and destruction.

I too feel hurted from this tragedy.

I share your thoughts for those people who lost their families and kindly hope the authorities take all the necessary measures to protect the population on the affected/threatened regions.

Arjay...and everyone else on the forum, T2Stratman is safe, too crusty to let a tornado get me, and as it turns out it was an F3...it was a big one! The tornado in Broken Arrow did damage, but thankfully no loss of life.

To get this one back on Topic, there were several more tornados in OK City the other evening and more tragic loss of life. Those are the folks (along with their families) that we should send our heart felt prayers too. But on the same token, those folks in Oklahoma are a tuff breed and all the local interviews with them, said we'll be back and no one can take our spirit away from us!

And to show just what kind of folks they have there, NO ONE was on television asking the government for anything...they were all pulling together as communities should and taking care of business. That is not to say the government has no role, just that the Feds need to wait until asked, then provide what the Governor of the States says they need and can't provide. My hats is off to them for the dealing with this tragedy with the dignity befitting of real Americans.

T2
