Tonight is also some kind of Tim McGraw/Faith Hill/Keith Urban deal from MGM Vegas.

Switched between several 'music' shows last night.

The Billboard (or aka Billbored) Awards were horrible!
Kid Rock got it right! Lip syncing "artists." Pathetic!

The sad part is that people actually buy this crap.

Saw the finale with Prince and his all-female band - the
drummer and bass player were amazing musicians.

What some people will do for money.

I guess if you offered a kid $20k/month to tour with
Beiber, it would be hard to say no?!?!

Totally agree Mike.

BUT PRINCE! I never used to see much in him till I saw the vid guitar gently weeps. That changed my mind! That would have been worth seeing for sure. Have a friend who saw The Stones last week in Vegas. Another who saw Clapton last week from a box seat in Royal Albert Hall!
I must be doing something wrong. :(

Okay then. Back to the thread.

I just got around to watching (DVR's are great!) and skipping
around and yeah, that was very cool...all things considered.

Another part I liked was John Mayer's playing and induction of Albert King. I thought this was excellent :
