That was nice, but rather than the sound track, I'd much rather have someone telling me what I'm looking at. Twenty Sunbursts in a row is what I call too much of a good thing. I gather from the video comments that the owner doesn't play? Does he have a son? Does he want one? I can be bought, just saying.

What a shame. All those wonderful pieces of wood, metal & plastic just sitting there in silence.

+1..and not a very good Gilmour imitation on the soundtrack either.

This was a bit more interesting.

As much as I love to see guitar collections and having 30 of my own, that collection is just way too man guitars for one person to have,it would take probably a couple of years to go through the whole collection playing just one guitar a day-not to mention a different amp every day.Even with just 30 guitars I have a hard tme keeping track of my rotation order so that neither guitar goes for too long without being played. There are hundreds even thousands of people who could afford to buy even some of the rare custom colour guitars from the 50s and 60s and would certainly pay way more attention to them and appreciate them more that this guy does.Someone who hordes so many guitars that it is literally impossible to play them all is almost or maybe even just as bad as the uber-rich non-playing noveau-riche Chinese collector who buys them up by the warehouseful just to unload them on another non-playing collector to make even more money from them. I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing that a guitar that I played and cherished would sit forever mute in a sealed vault-what a cruel thing to do to an incredible musical instrument.

That video just goes to show what those with too much money do to inflate the value of guitars they will never play.

Sad, actually.

Yes I share the sentiment.
Something tells me this collector can´t even tune an instrument.
Putting those guitars out of circulation is a heart-ache to see.

...The silence in that room... Creepy.

If we busted the doors, I would grab the first one and
run like hell. Well I´d take two maybe, he he. :D

Anyways I suffered in watching and so I wanted to share the load.
Cheers.

it is a shame to see them sit. However, if these guitars are maintained well, it's a matter of time before they re-enter the market.

Without collectors like this guy, I don't know how likely it would be to find a guitar as old as these in such pristine condition. So for people who want a real original Fender strat in the year 2112, they might just be able to find one that doesn't look like it's been dragged behind a truck.
