There have been many shark jumps in contemporary music. I'm going to list one only: Eric Clapton after 461 Ocean Boulevard jumped "Jaws" (the great white shark of movie fame) and kept on going. He is still a great guitarist and seems to be a pretty cool Bro to this day (I've not met him but would still like to). Those wheels of rock and roll fire were put out by the crocodile tears of love for someone else's girl, really toned down his music output after 461, which just left him amazing rather than super amazing, lol. As always, in the words of my favorite Martian, IMHO YMMV.
