Nice little set up, i would highly recommend to you getting a VHT valveulator to go into first, it will make your rig sound better, If you go back and look at mine, you will see i run a bigger set up, and it made a world of difference to me. Running it into a tube buffer preamp/linedriver

I have the money for a lot of effects but when it comes down to it, all I use is my dads Blues Deluxe Reissue through a TS9 and a Vox Wah to my MIM Deluxe Players Strat. Seriously, all you need is a good guitar, tube amp, and maybe a little extra. Before you guys start ripping my flesh apart, I was only expressing my opinion.

that is a good set up for the blues, or some other things, but it is very limited, i use at least 2 tubescreamers and a wah at the least.

But if that works for you that is great!!! Keep rockin

Jackson guitar with aftermarket Seymour Duncan hot rodded humbucker set, Im not sure what kind of Jackson because I've looked all over for the serial number on Jackson's website and haven't found it, anyway, Digitech RP80, and Peavey Blazer 158.

Yeah, in a way it's a bit much, but I use each pedal judiciously and have a very unprocessed tone...the co-guitarist in my band (the Screamin' Armadillos) has noted that even though I have quite a few stompboxes, it has never degraded into the ultra-processed anemic tones of the 80s. He and I trade off the rhythm and lead roles within the band (a la the Arc Angels or Storyville).

Also, before forming my own group, I acted as the fill-in-the-blanks guy in several bands...with this rig I can get a "counterpoint" tone to another guitarist and/or emulate the approximate "feel" of a cover tune.

The TubeScreamer, the EQ (used for a volume boost and to fatten up the tone) and the HUSH (prevents noise and feedback with the harp mic) rarely get turned off; all the others are used for either texture, emphasis or atmosphere, according to what the song needs.

I aim for an organic tone, and believe it or not , I get it with this rig!

--I'll give that a try, I tried one other preamp/linedriver before, but I didn't really think it did enough for the cost and (added) equipment. I get quite a boost out of the EQ and rarely notice any signal loss.

The Valveulator isnt like anything u have ever seen. My tech told me about it, he uses one on each of his boards, he has 5, I was honestly shocked when i a/b'ed it. It ias amazing how much better my rig sounded, when it already sounded good

Where in Texas are u? I am a ft. worth guy

My "apartment dweller's" rig:

Fender Deluxe Nashville Telecaster
Ibanez Artcore AXD-82p
Electro-Harmonix Nano Soul Preacher, Nano Small Stone, #1 Echo, and Holy Grail Plus
Peavey ValveKing Royal 8

Stuff I have but don't play (aka waiting to be traded in for another telecaster) include an Ibanez SZR-720, a Dunlop 535Q, and a Dunlop High Gain Volume.

I’ve since sold the Laney flat-front 4x12 at the bottom right, and sold one of the guitars but purchased a couple more.

Here’s a better and more current shot of the electrics:

Here’s a slightly clearer shot of some of the amps, labeled:

Here’s the acoustics:

Of late (I've sorta semi-retired my '66 Super Reverb, which is probably my over-all fave, from gigging, though I break her out for special occasions), my rig is a 1960's Sunn 200S head into one of the following:

80's Risson 4x12:

Image

'60's Kustom 1x15:

DIY 2x12 (made from a gutted Crate combo) with a couple silverback Celestions stuck in:

The Sunn is actually a bass head technically, and I've used it as such as well. Guitars are in rotation at my whim and caprice, as the photos indicate.

GOOD GAWD MAN!!!!! That is a sweet inventory. If I only had 1/8 of the gear you have, I would be satisfied for life.
