RAP, like Flo ridas' "low", it absolutely DISGUSTS me, these losers have nothing else in life to think about but po--ah, "not dressed" women, then they write songs about it, and people LOVE it, it makes me sick

the worst songs on the radio today:

Low- Flo rida
Touch my body- Mirah Carey
I kissed a girl(?)- ?????
and countless others i can't recall right now...

I totally agree with you. My bro is learning how to play drums and due to the fact that rap music has bass and beats to it, he listens to it OVER AND OVER! It bugs the heck out of me!

LOL, that's what my best friend's father says all the time - he (and my bestfriend's family is) is from Bensonhurst. My stepmother still lives there too.

It's been estimated that 1 in 7 American's can trace their family back to Brooklyn.

I pretty much hate the "Remix" songs that are basically pale copies of good songs. I recently heard that rap song that was a chop of Innagoddadavita from Iron Butterfly. Then there's Puff Daddy's chop of Every Breath I Take from the Police.

I also hate that Superman rap song, or whatever it's called.

Lastly, I don't like Emo.

I hate all rap and all my friend's listen to it. I don't like country either. It's too slow and boring and they try to make most songs sound sad.

Yeah, before it was absorbed as one of the boroughs, Brooklyn was the 3rd largest city in the US...crazy, I think a friend of mine from Bayridge said it had a sign saying that there.

If Brooklyn were still an independent city it would be the 4th largest in the country, followed by Queens borough.

Dance music. The really crazy annoying kind. Type in Scooter music to google. You'll feel my pain, over here in the UK.

I'm still a little Blury on the Emo thing. What is Emo, and who plays Emo. In my day, many of my friends were Death Rockers, is that the same as an Emo Kid? Is it a look, or a style of music?

I ask because my Death Rocker friends had a Penchant for Creedence Clearwater Revival, Buddy Holly, and Johnny Cash, while also listening the Pixies, Souxie and The Banshees, The Smiths, Lou Reed, and Velvet Underground, along with old School Punk like Dead Kenedy's, Subhumans and Charged GBH. Death Rocker was a Fashion Choice more than a Musical preference. In fact, I hung out with the Black Lipstick and Fingernail Polish crowd because they had the most Eclectic listening habits in the school. They were the only ones that listened to SRV with me, before he died.

Yea, maybe they should put their "musical ability" into rock music eh?
