Can someone please let me know if there is a site that addresses first gen. Cybertwin issues. Had one repaired a couple months ago and want to know if it is worth repairing again. Help please. :?: :?: :!:

If you go to the forum index and scroll down a bit you'll find an entire forum devoted to these amps.

I would still get my original CT repaired. I recently uploaded a track that recorded using my '66 Jazzmaster & CT to YT. The backing track was created by another musician on one of the guitar forums, the 'steel drums' effect lead was created by me using the C36 'Harmonic Chimes' preset in the Cyber-Twin. I used my old BOSS BR-600 for recording.

Mustangs... G-DECs... Super Champs... but I don't see any Cyber Forum. The Cyber Series were created well before the G-DECs and I would actually consider them the forerunners of the G-DEC amps. I own Mustangs, first and second generation G-DECs and even, yes, a Cyber-Deluxe.

You can't find it because there is not a forum dedicated to the Cyber series amps. There are separate sections for the ones that came after (GDECs and Mustangs) but not the Cyber amps. The closest thing I have found was this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=142&hilit=cyber

There are some posts about the Cyber series here also:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=48786&hilit=cyber&start=120

but be ready to wade through a lot of troll posts on the second one. There are a few posters that indicate that amp design was perfected several decades ago, and they don't have much tolerance for things they don't understand, like hybrid amps. As an owner of a CyberTwin SE I get a kick out of how many of these experts rag on it for not having tubes, despite the fact that the CyberTwins DO have a pair of pre-amp tubes. Of course if any of these experts mic their all-tube amps I'm sure they only use all-tube power amps to drive their sound reinforcement, since there are no good solid state amps
