...when Fender stops using zinc on their bridges of all guitar models?

And uses steel or brass instead?

No zinc on any of my Strat bridges. Steel saddles, steel base plates, steel trem blocks, steel springs and screws.

You must live in some alternate universe.

The guitar underverse perhaps. Lord Marshal would be pleased to have this heavy metal convert in his band.

MIM standard stratocaster trem blocks are zinc but not the bridge or saddles.

Ugh. Zinc has no place on any musical instrument. Galvanised dustbins* and BBQ's yes. Guitars, no. Rip that nasty stuff out and stick a brass block in there, for cheap guitars it's the most cost-effective upgrade you can do. Even more than a set of replacement pickups.

US English translation: galvanized trashcans

Some of us are unfortunately, [or fortunately depending on point of view], old enough to remember a dear old UK ditty entitled "My Old Man's a Dustman"

I'm more familiar with the reworded version extolling the footballing prowess of former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane ... I won't post it here because it rapidly descends into obscenity, as do all the best football chants. Especially the one about Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.
