I've only got one pedal, a Boss SL-20 Slicer. Utterly brilliant bit of kit, great for recording rhythmic filtered guitar parts and it synds to MIDI clock to keep everything in time when you're recording.

I gave up on pedals years back but the new Boss Adaptive Distortion and maybe the Multi Overtone pedal may just tempt me back into the habit, those things sound really very good indeed.

I'm cheap I bought this Chinese Joyo Ultimate Drive because I'd heard good things about it. I couldn't bring myself to drop the cash on a OCD though I love them. I know I said it on another thread but  best $40 I ever spent on Amazon. Sounds great with single coils or humbuckers and has a wide gain range. Goes from blues to brown but falls short of metal territory. I would replace with another if it broke.

Lots and lots of people I respect as players saying the same about Joyo drives.

I had to go back and look. I thought there was a pedal name sharpie and I wondered what it did! There's pedals that do brown sound, maybe the sharpies do black sound.

Re: the Sharpies on the Big Ol' Board of Sonic Bliss...I was trying to get Ray Sharpe's guitar tone... :P

After 427 occurrences that I needed a Sharpie and didn't have one, I finally Velcro'd two onto my board...you can tell I'm a slow learner!

That's a great idea. I have lost count how many times I needed something to write a set list with. I keep one in each of my guitar cases now.

Another 'non-pedal' accessory I frequently see on boards is an Altoids tin. -For storing guitar picks.
